EUt+ Limassol Week
The EUt+ Limassol Week took place in October with great success, during which students from the 8 universities of the European University of Technology Alliance (EUt+) had the opportunity to come together and take part in a series of interactive workshops and discussions.
In particular, the week started with a Business Idea Generator workshop where multicultural teams of students from all EUt+ partners were formed to find solutions to specific challenges, given by experts from the world of start-ups, NGOs or local authorities.
The workshop, in the form of a Hackathon, was an excellent opportunity for students to work on a real social societal problem, come up with ideas and create the prototype of a solution, which they presented! The highlight of the day was the ice-breaking challenge where teams of students were challenged to build a tall “tower” using only… spaghetti and marshmallows. This challenge emphasizes team communication, leadership dynamics, collaboration, innovation and problem-solving strategy.
