Our team

The partners of the alliance are committed to a gradual integration of educational and research activities, co-creating opportunities for their staff and student body across all the campuses of the alliance. EUt+ is about the future and “thinking human first”, recognising the roots of their constituents and join forces while with great consideration on inclusion, multilingualism and multiculturalism aspects.

Project members

The Cyprus University of Technology is the Coordinator of Inno-EUt+ and responsible for monitoring the project progress and supporting all activities throughout the Alliance.

It is a public internationally recognised university, offering higher education and innovative research in leading fields including engineering, management and economics, fine and applied arts with about 3000 students attending academic programmes across 6 faculties and 13 departments.

The Technical University of Cartagena is responsible for the elaboration of the Transferability Plan and the Impact Framework in Inno-Eut+. UPCT has 6 Engineering Technical Schools, 1 Business Faculty and 1 School of Architecture and Building Engineering.

UPCT aims to train professionals and transfer quality knowledge in the fields of engineering, architecture and business, with about 6,000 students, 560 faculty and 390 non-academic staff.

Technical University of Cluj-Napoca is the largest technical HEI in Transylvania. It comprises 12 faculties in its two academic centres. The thematic fields cover most of the engineering domains, but also sciences and arts. TUCN manages the dissemination and communication plan with all partners contributing and serving as outlets in order to maximize the impact. The plan will be periodically updated by monitoring the impact of the various actions, especially the online context.

Technological University Dublin (TU Dublin) is Ireland’s largest university and is known for its progressive approach and commitment to innovation and knowledge transfer, industry and community engagement and equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI) for students and staff in every area of the University’s work.

TU Dublin leads Inno-EUt+ on inclusive entrepreneurship and IP management themes.

RTU is a modern internationally recognized university. It is the only polytechnic university in Latvia and the largest university in the country – it educates and trains almost 15 thousand students.

RTU is focused on becoming a third-generation university that not only provides high-quality education, but also conducts advanced research and ensures innovation and technology transfer, practically implementing scientific discoveries.

75 years of traditions in success! TU-Sofia is the largest technical university in Bulgaria and has the highest accreditation grade for engineering specialties. The University is a leader in the field of nanotechnologies, virtual engineering, energy efficiency, renewable energy resources, engineering ecology, and engineering design and offers foreign language education in English, French, and German.

The University of Technology of Troyes was founded in 1994 in the Academy of Reims and welcomed 3,000 students and 195 PhD in 2021 through 11 nationally accredited engineering diploma.

UTT is contributing to develop Innovation and entrepreneurship, which is a main item, according to the global strategy established with the Alliance.

The Water Alliance is a unique partnership of public and private companies, government agencies and knowledge institutes involved in water technology based in the Netherlands. WA focuses on innovative and sustainable water technology bringing together a complete chain of innovation, from first idea, research & development, specialised laboratories, a water application centre, various demosites, launching customers to international applications with commercial companies. WA takes a leading role in WP3 and contributes to the WP1, WP2, WP4-WP6.

Chrysalis LEAP is the first cleantech business accelerator in Cyprus and has supported more than 100 startups from Cyprus, Greece and the region. Since 2016 it is a member of the EIT Climate-KIC RIS and one of the longest running operators of the ClimateLaunchpad (CLP) cleantech entrepreneurship programme. It leads the roll out of the CLP in WP6, and participates in WP1-WP6.

Community Partners

The TUCN Student Entrepreneurship Society contributes to the creation of an ecosystem to support, develop and encourage entrepreneurship among students and graduates of the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca, in the first three years after graduation, in order to increase the competitiveness and visibility of the higher education institution in the academic and business environment.

Innovation Labs is a mentorship program for young people who want to make a difference through their creative technologies.

Participants have the chance to fine-tund their ideas and and turn them into real, working prototypes, in a seven-month development period with diverse feedback sources.

Young founders gain access to bleeding edge technologies offered by program partners, who open them for exploration and creative development.

The Innovation Labs experience is also about young people gaining self-confidence, raising
their expectations and perceiving all the opportunities and sources of support which are actually available, but not always visible.
